Above are example of sentence using a word listen in a daily life.

What it listen ? Listen according to wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn
- hear with intention; "Listen to the sound of this cello"
- listen and pay attention; "Listen to your father"; "We must hear the expert before we make a decision"
- heed: pay close attention to; give heed to; "Heed the advice of the old men"

from all of the explanation above , we can see that listen is not the same as hear , but more. It requires :
... paying attention
... pay close attention,
... with intention
see, it is not just giving your ear ...

from time to time i've been reminded by situations, friends, family, wife ... that this is one of the important skills that need to learn, ... i mean really really need to learn.

I don't know why, but I tend to have a framework of everything in my head when hearing people speak, it can be argument, it can be thinking what is he/she thinking while saying it, or even a blank framework ( Ngalamun mun ceuk urang sunda mah) .
So as a result, the conclusion is not coming from what is the person saying but .. a conclusion from my own head and bits from what actually the person saying.
To most people, this kind of behaviour is really annoying , the rest of the people ,... this is even more annoying since this make others feel that i'm not listening to them

For you, listening might be easy. Believe me! i feel the same way too
I think have understand , I think i have listen , but when I think i have listen enough, ...eventually it is not.

So in a spirit of continous improvement, today I will (again) refresh my brain, get set and listen!
